Programme of Events

The Film Festival is screening seven of Grace Kelly's most iconic films, using the 100-seater Cinemobile, which will be located in the grounds of the local National School. Opening Night, Friday 14th, we will host a 'Red Carpet Gala Night' with a screening of the film 'High Society', with VIP guests in attendance.

There will also be exhibitions in the Tourist Office with memorabilia of Grace Kelly and her husband Prince Rainier III on their visits to Newport.

Movie posters

"I've worked with many fine actresses, but in my opinion the best actress I ever worked with was Grace Kelly. Ingrid, Audrey, Deborah Kerr were splendid, splendid actresses, but Grace was utterly relaxed - the most extraordinary actress ever."
Cary Grant

"If you've ever played a love scene with her, you'd know she's not cold . . . besides, Grace has that twinkle and touch of larceny in her eye."
